As part of the Extrusion team you’ll be responsible for

• Run the relevant lines within your department to manufacture blown film to specific quality standards and specifications.
• To carry out duties effectively as required by the production plans and Quality Control check sheets.
• Minimise production downtime and scrap.
• Keeping the department clean and tidy to our high standards
• Follow H&S and environmental procedures, and seek to minimise waste.
• Prepare for the next shift in order to conduct smooth shift changeovers.

• Education: A good level of written and spoken english is required, along with mathematics.
• Skills/Experience: Previous experience with working in a manufacturing environment and on  shift patterns would be advantageous.
• Personality/Attributes: We are looking for the successful candidate to be driven, enthusiastic, hardworking and able to work on their own initiative to run a press, with minimum supervision.
• Additional Requirements: Good timekeeping, tidy, hardworking, health & safety conscious and great communication skills are essential, in addition to the ability to work as part of a team.
