Responsibilities

To work within the finance business support team to prepare monthly management accounts and support the sites to maintain the integrity of the financial reporting.

 

  • Work with the financial shared service centre to prepare monthly management accounts and ancilliary reports and provide commentary against budget and forecast
  • Complete monthly and quarterly forecasts based on most up to date business information
  • Develop and prepare reporting for site management as required
  • Customer profitability assessment and decision on credit limits or support analysis for onward escalation and authorisation
  • Provision of information to auditors for group accounts, statutory accounts, and Sarbanes Oxley
  • Support colleagues to meet organisational goals and objectives, to increase process efficiencies and to ensure adherence to procedures and any other duties as required and appropriate

Qualifications

  • Professionally qualified CIMA/ACCA will consider part qualified
  • Experience within a similar role in a manufacturing environment with exposure to commercial and operational teams.
  • Experience of working with a Shared Service Function is desirable.
  • High levels of drive and personal commitment to achieve success.
  • Acute attention to detail and accuracy is key.
  • Ability to prioritise duties while maintaining flexibility and adapting to changing demands.
  • Ability to work with others and engage them in achieving the goal.
  • Excellent IT skills (ERP systems, data warehouses, Microsoft Office)
