Enforce EHS requirements in accordance with company policy. Specifically: · Promote safety culture / awareness considering behaviors and attitudes. · Conduct audits/checks within defined schedule and close out any corrective actions. · Minute meetings in relation to SHEQ Compliance and Improvement Plan reviews. · Promote use of hazard reporting mechanisms to increase reporting/resolution figures. · Co-ordinate Fire Management on site, from evacuation training and fire safety training to carrying fire drills. · Co-ordinate First Aid provisions on site from on-site of duties and equipment, to quarterly reviews of the facilities, procedures, and equipment. · Monitor PPE stock levels and restock where required, working with EHS Manager and Procurement to ensure right PPE is sourced for activities on site. · Carryout induction, onboarding and other compliance training, including periodic refreshers to employees on site. · Collate and review outgoing waste documentation and input outgoing waste data in to GRP002 Recycled Products Waste Management spreadsheet in a timeous manner. · Be first point of contact for waste suppliers, book/schedule waste collections, raise PO’s and sign off invoices through Citrix ready for approval and payment. · With support from the EHS Manager, source and book external SHEQ related training, issue joining instructions, this should include Fire Warden and First Aid. · Monitor and maintain First Aid, Fire Warden and Banks Person trained list, and issue out accordingly · Update site training matrix for all internal and external SHEQ related training, file electronic training certification/sign sheets and issue to relevant Manager to update the hard copy training record · Provide support as note taker and minutes typed for meetings as and when requested · Improve communication and engagement across the site for Health and Safety. This should include toolbox talks/safety briefs, comms screens, meetings and inductions. · Promote the reporting of all accidents, near-misses, hazard observations and damage incidents. · To raise the profile of safety and environmental management across the site. · Input and assist with the analysis of key performance indicator reports for site, providing information when requested to timescale · Provided support for the EHS Manager and Quality Manager to ensure documentation is traceable for compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and other industry standards i.e. Operation Clean Sweep and Zero Waste to Landfill – documentation in date and easy to find · Co-ordinate and monitor closure of EHS related entries and Corrective Actions from audits, and external assessments. Entries updated and closed in a timeous manner · Quarterly waste returns submitted to EA on time every time. · Outgoing waste documentation is monitored to ensure it is completed correctly as per legislative requirements – reduction/no non conformances raised for incorrect documentation or not completed correctly · Assigned projects delivered within agreed timescale and where applicable within budget · Weekly and monthly metrics · Contribute in and communicate improvements to systems, practices, and procedures across all departments. · Provide support with written reports on all aspects of performance including safety, environmental, people and quality. · Develop personal knowledge and skills. · Communicate effectively across all areas of responsibility – Safety, Quality, Production and People
